What I've built.

stateleg.com — a political-intelligence platform for state legislatures, used by lobbyists, government-affairs teams, and nonprofits. Town Square Podcast Studio. A handful of community projects in Russellville, Arkansas. And now this academy.

Every one of them had the same constraint: more decisions than capacity, less time than work, no team to delegate to. The workflows in this curriculum are the ones I built and still use to run all of it — not from a coaching practice, not from a course-launch playbook, from the builder who has to ship the work himself.

Why AI specifically.

I started experimenting with the tools in 2023 the way most operators did — cleverly, then sporadically, then frustrated. The pattern that became this curriculum showed up about six months in: the operators around me who got real leverage out of AI weren't the ones with the best prompts. They were the ones who took a specific workflow, sat down with the tool until it ran, and then moved on to the next one. Reps, in your own business, on your own time.

That's also when I started running workshops for the operators in town. The cohort is the structured version of those sessions — opened up nationally, built around the one install you actually need shipped — and the community is where it keeps going after the 30 days.
